MUNCIE, Ind. - A Muncie man reportedly drove a forklift into the Books-A-Million, located at 3501 North Granville Avenue.
FOX 59, WTHR, and WIBC report that, sometime around 4:45am and 4:47am this morning, police responding to an alarm noticed a 34 year-old man, covered in shards of glass and bleeding from his right hand, outside the store.
Reportedly, the man was standing next to the forklift, which he was persuaded to get on.
While WIBC and FOX 59 report the man was arrested and faces a $5,000 bond, there's no active case at the time of publication. Following ethical reporting standards, VBN will not be publishing the man's name unless a case is filed.
