"I will not apologize": Sure Foundation Baptist Church Defends Sermon Calling for Death of LGBTQ+ People
INDIANAPOLIS - The Sure Foundation Baptist Church is standing by Stephen Falco, who, during a "Men's Preaching Night" event, called for LGBTQ+ people to "blow [themselves] in the head, in the back of the head."
Justin Zhong made a Facebook post on the church's account, wanting to "to address some recent developments concerning the Men’s Preaching Night last Sunday."
"I will not apologize for preaching the Word of God," Zhong posted. "I will not apologize for stating facts. I will not negotiate with terrorists, among whom the LGBTHIV crowd is full of domestic terrorists."
Zhong continued that LGBTQ+ people "deserve the death penalty carried out by a government that actually cares about the law of God," while stating the church is "not to take the law into [its] own hands."
Zhong went on to say that LGBTQ+ people "can never be saved since they hate God and they don’t even want to retain God in their knowledge," going on to say that "Christians need to hate those people who hate God," among other inflammatory remarks.
"[The] Sure Foundation Baptist Church is a Bible-believing church," Zhong stated, calling faith leaders who've condemned Falco's message "funny."
"This simply shows me that they do not care about the Bible," Zhong asserted.
"If you are sick and tired of the woke culture or churches that do not preach the whole Bible, then you should come and check us out," the post concluded.
