MUNCIE, Ind. - If you're having trouble accessing Canvas, it's not just you, and it's not just a Ball State issue.
"Canvas is experiencing issues due to an ongoing AWS incident," the website reads.
CBS News reports that Amazon Web Services, AWS for short, powers numerous web platforms, including Snapchat, Roblox, Fortnite, Robinhood and the McDonalds app.
Fox 29 Philadelphia reports Canvas engineers stated "recovery efforts are underway and will continue until full service is restored," and that "[s]tudents and educators are encouraged to check status.instructure.com for real-time updates."
