...SNOW SHOWERS LIKELY IMPACTING FRIDAY EVENING COMMUTE...
A quick moving storm system will move across central Indiana late
tonight...after 2 am...before moving out of the area by mid-late
morning Friday. A quick 0.5 to 1.5 inch of snowfall accumulation
is expected with higher amounts in northern areas.
Another round of snow is expected to develop during the mid-late
afternoon hours. This snow will be showery in nature with the
potential for brief moderate to heavy snow squalls over localized
areas. Another 0.5 to 1 inch of snowfall is possible, with some
impact expected for the Friday evening commute.
If traveling, be alert for rapidly changing conditions in short
distances. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
Do not crowd snowplows.
